Interactive Whiteboard Activity
I created an interactive whiteboard activity so that my students would have a new and fun way of showing what they know. This Whiteboard activity shows that the students can distinguish the difference between the four major habitats in the world. The four habitats we learned were Rainforest, Grassland, Tundra, and the Aquatic habitat. The students will choose the animals at the bottom of the page and drag them to their correct placement under the habitat name.
By using the product, I have learned that there are many steps that you have to take to make the activity become interactive. The steps that I had to take to have my animals move were to select a new text box, copy and paste the image in the text box, and make the text box as large or as small as the picture. This was great things to learn while conducting this project.
While working on this project, I ran into a problem making sure that my animals were able to be moved. I need to continue learning what I can do to improve my stills with the product so that I can be a more efficient teacher. Also, knowing how to use this program will eliminate any technology problems in the classroom while I am presenting it to the students to do.
